Hackett posts sold Top 25 finish at Talladega:
At a track that relies on drafting partners Ryan Hackett, driver of the #76 Ray Hackett Racing, JandRSupply.com, Ford F-Series, unfortunately found himself at the end of the race without much help. Ryan and the team started the weekend with one 2 hour practice on Friday on the 2.66 mile tri-oval at Talladega, working mainly on qualifying runs and setup. But Hackett still posted the 28th fastest practice time of the 40 trucks at the track. Ryan then ended the day on a good note with a qualifying run good enough to place him 30th in the field for Saturday’s race. On race day Hackett would start off by immediately getting into the draft and falling into about 20th position. He would spend most of the race between about 19th and 24th spots on the track. On the final restart of the day with just 2 laps to go, Ryan found himself in 16th position. However, because of a lack of drafting help he was shuffled back to the 23rd position and would finish the race on the lead lap in 22nd place. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements regarding the teams next race.
